Terms and Conditions Styr Academy:
General Terms and Conditions: These are the general terms and conditions of Styr.
Styr: Styr Publisher B.V. (Chamber of Commerce number 86056123).
Participant: The individual participating in a training or course provided by Styr.
Client: The party entering into or intending to enter into an agreement with Styr.
Training: An educational program that participants can join through open registration.
Quotation: Any offer from Styr to enter into an Agreement, whether or not at the request of a Client.
Agreement: Any agreement between Styr and a Client.
Parties: Styr and Client collectively.
Written: By letter or email.
General:
The prices mentioned for trainings and courses:
Apply per participant;
Include training materials;
Exclude VAT;
Exclude any accommodation and meal costs;
Apply from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
Payments:
Unless specific conditions are agreed upon, the Client shall pay the invoice amount within fourteen days of the invoice date. Failure to make timely payment may result in denial of access to the training(s). Non-attendance of the training(s) does not release the financial obligation to Styr. After the due date, and if compliance is not met after a reasonable written deadline, statutory interest shall apply and be calculated on the entire invoiced amount without further notice. If the Client is in default or otherwise fails to fulfill one or more of its obligations, all reasonable costs incurred to obtain satisfaction shall be borne by the Client, both judicial and extrajudicial.
Cancellation:
Cancellation must be made in writing. If participants cancel their participation, the following charges apply:
More than 4 weeks before the start: €75 administrative fee;
Between 2 and 4 weeks before the start: 50% of the participation costs;
Within 2 weeks before the first training day or during the training or course: the total participation costs.
This cancellation policy is void if the Client allows another participant to attend the training, provided they meet Styr's specified profile. A telephone intake interview will be conducted with this new participant.
Styr reserves the right to cancel a training or course. Charges incurred will be credited. Styr accepts no liability for any costs incurred by participants or their organization as a result of the cancellation of a training or course.
Rescheduling:
If participants wish to reschedule their training or course, they may do so free of charge up to 4 weeks before the start. After that, the following charges apply:
Between 2 and 4 weeks before the start: €75 administrative fee;
Within 2 weeks before the start: 50% of the participation costs.
If a participant decides to cancel after rescheduling the training or course, the above cancellation terms apply.

All rights to the educational materials provided by Styr remain reserved. Without prior permission from Styr, nothing from the publication(s) may be reproduced, stored in an automated data file, or made public in any way. It is not permitted to provide the educational materials to third parties.
